Alfredo debuted with his first feature “Open Wound” (Mono con Gallinas), a historical coming of age during the Ecuadorian and Peruvian war of 1941. His second feature film “Submersible” (Sumergible), is a joint co-production of Boom with Carnaval Cine and Proyección Films (Colombia). The film has obtained international recognition.
Alfredo is also the executive producer for “Pasillos de Cuna”, among other ongoing projects. He is a faculty member at San Francisco de Quito University’s film school.
